The Mountain starts from us or the Valley ends at us. Depending on how one sees it! You can walk to the Natural Park located on the slope of Psiloritis or descend to the chapel of Panagia Kardiotissa in Livada. Closer by, visit the chapels of Agios Antonios in the west or Theotokos and Ai Giorgis in Mourtse in the east. Everywhere, there is a shadowy place to rest.

Walking routes

The park is just 1km from the village square. Have a walk and see the native wild plants of Crete.

Start from our square, go through the lower part of the village and follow the signs for Panagia. Continue in a circular way and return to the village, passing gardens and an old watemill.

An easy route to a small church in the perennial cypress trees. Do not forget to take your book with you and enjoy the tranquility of the site.

Also an easy walk to two chapels at the entrance of the village. From the Theotokos chapel you can see the beautiful sunset in the Valley.
